Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine
Marathon Medical Associates, established in 2023, is a private medical practice specializing in pulmonary and sleep medicine. With patient-centered, holistic care as our primary focus, patients will feel well supported by our team of nurse practitioners and supervising physician. Our providers have worked at the best health care organizations in Boston and teaching hospitals. They manage complicated referrals coming from the community and we look forward to servicing these patients outside of the city. New referral appointments are currently 12 weeks out at most pulmonary and sleep medicine practices.
We feel strongly about patient access, whether it is getting a provider on the phone or in-person evaluation. Marathon Medical Associates will have clinic slots available daily, whether it is for an urgent new referral or a sick visit for an existing patient. We will have the ability to take on post-discharge patients in an appropriate time frame. Our fully functioning pulmonary function lab will allow for faster diagnostics available for our clinicians along with referrals for outside providers.
Outpatient pulmonary and sleep medicine practice. Servicing pulmonary diagnoses including but not limited to asthma, COPD, nicotine dependence, chronic cough, bronchiectasis, and sarcoidosis. We will provide diagnostic work ups for cough, dyspnea, and shortness of breath. Conditions such as ILD or pulmonary HTN may be referred or cared for collaboratively with a larger hospital system. Sleep disorders including but not limited to OSA, central sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, restless leg syndrome, REM behavior disorders, circadian rhythm disorders, and shift work.
